Have you noticed that at the end of most commercials these days, the smart ones, end with a facebook icon next to their logo? Pay attention between now and next week. Count how many times you see the facebook or twitter icons in advertising, both in print and TV.

Word of mouth? Or WORLD of mouth?

Let me ask you this?

WHY ARE YOU WASTING YOUR MONEY ON ARCHAIC AND LESSER EFFECTIVE FORMS OF ADVERTISING?

Do you know how many Facebook profiles there are in Las Vegas?
Do you know how many of those profiles are 50 years of age or older? (you'd be surprised)
Do you know how many of those people like dogs?
Do you know how to create and maintain your Facebook business page?
Do you know how to create an ad and laser focus your targeted demographic?

These, along with many other questions will be answered at the workshop.

Preparation

When you come, please bring every digital device you have. Laptop, cell phone, tab or pad. Have them fully charged and ready to be accessed. I will provide you with access to our WiFi when you arrive if you don't have a paid service on your device. Also bring pen and paper.. yes the old archaic pen and paper to make some quick side notes if you're not that fast at typing on your device. Bring a business card to drop in the the box. We will have a drawing at the end of the workshop, offering a free "Road Map" to the card chosen.

I started building business pages for companies back when Myspace was the only option and Facebook was still exclusive to Ivy League Colleges. Today, I sit and coach my clients for hours on end as to how to promote themselves, via social media. Which has led me to organizing a social media workshop. Several aspects will be covered. From how to strategically build your network to how to create an ad and turn exposures into dollar signs. How to establish your business as a "Place" for people to "Check In" while they are at your place of business. There are sooooooo many things to discuss and learn about, I can't even cover all of the topics or tangents we may go off on. So just come to the workshop! LOL

I say we because, Henry Weinacker will be speaking as well. Co-author of Diginomics and a social media guru. I will be showing you statistics and what to do to make social media work for you. But, in a couple hours, will that be enough? I will introduce myself as "The Problem". Numbers, statistics and ad creation. But, will you have the time and dedication to be consistent with your plan of attack? For some of you, the answer is yes. But, for others, maybe not so much. Well, Henry will introduce you to his company that can do everything for you and effectively implement your plan. Be it, uploading videos to youtube to demonstrate how you do what you do, adding people to your social media network, blogging, ad management, SEO or all of the above. Henry can help you obtain a road map on how to achieve your goal and spin the effort into a monetary return. Which is what it's all about, right? So, I will be introducing him as a "Solution."

The event will be held in our conference room downtown at 900 South 4th Street @ Hoover on the southwest corner. We will provide you with snacks and beverages to hold you over until you get home for dinner. Count on the workshop lasting at least an hour and a half. For those of you who are diehard like me and want to stay longer to get more info, I will stay and answer as many questions as I can for as long as it takes. I am EXTREMELY passionate about what I do and the information I wish to share with you. It only brings us closer, deepens our relationships, helps the local economy overall and most of all, for me, I just love helping people. I imagine this workshop will sell out and spawn new, more focused workshops on various aspects of what can be done.

I look forward to meeting all of you there. Some of you I will probably, actually know, and others will be new to my network. Either way, get good sleep the night before, take your Ginko and prepare to absorb tons of excellent information that will do no less than propel you and your business to the next level.

I started a career in direct marketing at 18 years old and rose to the top of the first corporation I worked with in less than 6 months. That experience brought me into the path of becoming a motivational speaker which I have continued doing over the last 10 years. I have spoken as around the country and even as far away as Dubai. 

I established a solid reputation within the direct sales industry over the last 7 years and have been a motivational speaker since the age of 18, speaking in front audiences around the country. More recently I spoke at the 2008 Pre-Launch for an MLM company in Dubai I was subsequently offered to be a keynote speaker the following year for the 2009 Direct Selling Festival, the largest MLM forum held in the Middle East.

Many know me from appearing in media spotlights on such things as CNBC’s “The Billionaire Inside” with Donald Trump, The 2008 Emmy Awards, and 2009 Grammy's. I reached the semi-final interview process twice for The Apprentice and once for Survivor and enjoy writing, having authored three books, including one on my favorite subject, network marketing.

In 2002, I started working with my first direct sales company, Vector Marketing. The company markets Cutco Cutlery and has annual sales of $150 million. At age 18, and out of 40,000 people in Vector, I became the #5 distributor in North America. The following year I opened Weinacker & Associates, a branch recruiting office for Vector. Interviewing over 2,000 prospective sales reps that wanted to work there, I managed a sales force of 200, and was regarded as the #2 recruiter in the U.S. During my tenure with Vector I was responsible for over $2 million in sales. Out of the 500,000+ distributors that have worked there, I still rank in the top 125 in volume all-time.

I opened my network marketing career with Arbonne International, a 29 year old industry leader with annual sales as high as $700 million+ a year. I became one of the youngest Executive Area Managers, the 4th highest rank to achieve in Arbonne and an invited speaker at Mercedes Benz presentations for Vice Presidents in front of thousands across the country.

Following my first venture, I chose to align himself with Isagenix, a 6 year old seller of nutrition supplements with annual sales of $250 million. I became the youngest to reach the coveted rank of Crystal Executive (less than 1% of distributors reach this level.) What I'm most proud of though, is that through hundreds of nationwide calls conducted during a one year period my health team lost 20,000 pounds.

I began building my third network with WorldVentures, a leader in travel with annual sales of $75 million. Within one year I achieved the rank of Marketing Director (less than 1% of distributors reach this level.) The company has over 75,000 reps and I became one of the top 25 income earners in just 10 months. Subsequently I was featured as an industry leader in Success from Home Magazine, one of the largest network marketing publications in the country.
